How glad I was to welcome a visit from two Dutch friends, i.e. Ingrid Oud and Marga Bosch. They both work for Tastbaar Verleden Stichting. They came to the secretariat of Sundanese Culture Institute (LBS) at Bandung’s Pasundan University yesterday morning, along with Pitra Moeis of Bandung’s Commonroom. Our guests were gathering inputs for developing art and cultural programmes that can build cultural ties between Indonesia and the Netherlands. We talked about many things, from Sundanese poetry to Robin van Persie. This relaxed conversation was punctuated by musical sound of kacapi played by Agus Suherman and Purwanto, my colleagues at LBS.
