Hawe SetiawanProf. Badaruddin Mohamed of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and friends visited me at Pasundan University (Unpas) campus in Bandung this morning. He came along with his colleagues, i.e. Dr. Salasiah Che Lah, Dr. Tarmiji Masron, and Ramnah Ramli.
This was the second visit of our USM friends to Unpas’ Lembaga Budaya Sunda (LBS). They are building a cooperation with Unpas and two other Bandung-based universities in order to organize an international conference on local wisdom in the city. The conference will be held from 14 to 16 October this year.
My friends and I, as usual, greeted our guests by letting them enjoy Sundanese traditional music and songs performed at LBS’ small stage. All the performers were Unpas’ staffs, especially those who work at the LBS.
