    Dear Miki,

I thank you very much for visiting this blog. I deeply appreciate your support and encouragement. I always remember your suggestion that we need to write about Sundanese matters in English in order to make them known by the world. It’s a little step to reach the objective.

    Dear Sir,
I am a french, and I visited Sunda last April. I would like to learn the language, and it is quite hard to find something in French except the very good book entitled PARLONS SOUNDANAIS: Langue et culture sunda by Viviane Sukanda-Tessier. Could you please advise me.

    Hatur Nuhun
    Marc

  7. Hawe Setiawan says:

    Dear Marc,

Sawangsulna. I am glad to know you. Thanks for your comment. To the best of my knowledge, it is, as you said, quite hard to find books in French on this subject. However, there is an interesting bilingual book of contemporary Sundanese poems entitled Poèmes soundanais: Anthologie bilingue by Ajip Rosidi and Henri Chambert-loir. It is my pleasure to assist you in knowing Sundanese language.

    Best wishes,

    Hawe
